ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS By installing, accessing, or using the Article to PDF browser extension ("Extension"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not install or use the Extension. 2. DESCRIPTION OF THE EXTENSION Article to PDF is a browser extension that extracts article content from web pages and allows you to save it as a clean PDF file without ads, navigation, or clutter. All article processing happens locally on your device. The Extension is available as a free version with limited features, and as a paid Pro version with additional capabilities. Pro licenses are managed through our payment provider, Lemon Squeezy. 3. FREE AND PRO VERSIONS a) Free Version: You may use the free version of the Extension at no cost, subject to the feature limitations described within the Extension. b) Pro Version: The Pro version is available via monthly, yearly, or lifetime subscription plans. Pricing is displayed within the Extension and on our website. All payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy. c) Refunds: Refund requests for Pro subscriptions are handled in accordance with Lemon Squeezy's refund policy and applicable consumer protection laws. EU consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal for digital purchases, in accordance with the Consumer Rights Directive. d) Cancellation: You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time through your Lemon Squeezy customer portal. Upon cancellation, you retain access until the end of the current billing period. 4. LICENSE Subject to these Terms, Article to PDF grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Extension for personal and commercial purposes. You may not: - Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Extension, except where permitted by applicable law. - Modify, adapt, or create derivative works based on the Extension. - Distribute, sublicense, lease, rent, or lend the Extension to third parties. - Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices. - Use the Extension for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations. 5. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY The Extension, including its code, design, icons, and documentation, is the property of Article to PDF and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. USER RESPONSIBILITIES You are solely responsible for: - Ensuring your use of the Extension complies with all applicable laws and regulations. - The content you extract and save using the Extension. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES THE EXTENSION IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. Article to PDF does not warrant that: - The Extension will function uninterrupted or error-free. - The Extension will be compatible with all websites or web pages. - Extracted content will be complete, accurate, or properly formatted. - The Extension will be available at all times or will continue to be maintained. 9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL ARTICLE TO PDF, ITS DEVELOPERS, CONTRIBUTORS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE EXTENSION, REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE TOTAL LIABILITY OF ARTICLE TO PDF FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING UNDER THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE EXTENSION IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. 10. CHANGES TO THE EXTENSION Article to PDF reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Extension (or any part thereof) at any time, with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Extension. 11. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by the "Last updated" date at the top of this document. Your continued use of the Extension after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically. 12. TERMINATION We may terminate or suspend your access to the Extension at any time, without prior notice, for any reason including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your license to use the Extension is immediately revoked. You may terminate these Terms at any time by uninstalling the Extension from your browser. 13. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the European Union and the applicable national laws. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts. If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, you retain any mandatory consumer protection rights granted under the laws of your country of residence. 14. SEVERABILITY If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. 15.
